Competition Rules
- The annual competition is in five classes:
- General Philately P.A. Wilde Rosebowl
- Postal History Diamond Jubilee Salver (1899 - 1974)
- Thematic Thematic Cup
- Postal Markings Eric Dixon Wooden Bowl
- Novices Robin Sanderson Salver
The Terra Nova (Bill Bennett) Cup is awarded annually to the Society member who has the entry
(in any class) with the highest marks awarded at the annual South Wales Federation Convention by the Federation Competition judges.
All competitors must be paid up members of the Society.
Each member may submit one entry in each section.
Each entry should be the competitor's own work.
Each entry should consist of an introductory sheet and 7 other sheets making 8 sheets in total, except Postal History which should consist of an introductory sheet and 15 other sheets making 16 sheets in total.
Each entry should be placed in an exhibition protector which must not exceed 245mm in width and 300mm in depth (9½" x 11¾").
Each entry is judged by all members of the Society who are present on the evening of the competition, except competitors.
The trophies are kept by the winners for one year.
